Joe Cunningham Jr., CFP® has been a Financial Advisor since 1985. A graduate of Northwestern State University, Joe's practice focuses on financial planning and wealth management for individuals and families, as well investment advisory and financial management for small business retirement plans, governmental bodies, endowments and foundations. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIA PLANNER™, Joe takes the time to get to know his client's goals and expectations and then helps them form a plan to help them live the kinds of lives that bring them joy.
Joe's civic and professional activities include having served on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Louisiana (IIAL), The Louisiana Small Business Development Center Advisory Board, Natchitoches Parish Chamber of Commerce (Past President), Rotary Club (Past President), and the Natchitoches Area Jaycees (Past President).
Joe and his wife Terri have three children, Joe Payne Cunningham III, Caitlin C Firmin, and Scott A Cunningham - and five granddaughters
Outside of the office Joe has traveled extensively on personal and volunteer opportunities, including a stint with World Central Kitchen on the Polish-Ukrainian border in May 2022; Ritsona refugee camp near Chalkida, Greece; children's hospital in Rabat, Morrocco; and numerous trips into Haiti. Joe enjoys hiking in the mountains, scuba diving in the Caribbean, spending time outdoors, and anything to do with his granddaughters.
